What is Going Once!?

Going Once! is a narrative-light management sim where you run an art auction house: inspecting artwork, building relationships with buyers, and running live high-stakes auctions.

INSPECTING ART

Use professional tools to uncover authenticity.

Use tools to discover tags on each art piece and uncover its true value. Haggle with sellers for a lower price before adding it to your collection.

GALLERY PHASE

Organize your display and build relationships.

Before each auction, place your pieces in the gallery and interact with visiting NPCs. Every character has their own likes, dislikes, personality, and hidden motives. Learning these affects how aggressively they'll bid later in the auction.

AUCTION PHASE

Fast-paced bidding driven by personality-rich NPCs.

Host dynamic auctions where NPCs auto-bid based on their wealth and preferences. React to quick time events that affect the final sale price and keep up with the pace or watch your profits slip.
